I personally prefer judgments, but maybe that's just me because sacred huntermaster is too similar to ranger and only really differs on minor areas and flavor. Hello! Shatter Defenses and Dreadful Carnage on a Slayer archer is a beautiful combination, as any enemy that is flat-footed (and that is open to precision damage) is now vulnerable to Sneak Attack. This ability works as the hunter class feature of the same name, using her inquisitor level as her hunter level. Not sure about my domain choice, as I don't get domain spells at all (correct?) I wouldn't call this build conventional but hey, you wanted a heavy armor Inquisitor! 4 ranger 16 fighter or 4 ranger 1-3 rogue X fighter if you just want to deal damage with your bow and nothing else. Any builds help really, just been trying stuff out seeing what I like. Important Skills: Trickery, Mobility, Stealth, Perception, and Persuasion are my usuals. Only issue I had was with action management, since Judgement, Bane and potential Quickened Spells (Round/level buffs mostly) were all swift actions that couldn't all be cast before . Would this work? All rights reserved. There is a masterwork weapon that lets you do damage on a combat maneuver (trip). After I nice Azata run with an Urban Hunter / Mutation Warrior (thanks again, juzam_djinn_fr) I'm thinking about a second run with an Angel of Erastil (core difficulty at max, maybe even normal) You know: The Leopard, some Bow-Damage to do something while not casting, the Guarded Hearth, aso. Cheers for going through that much effort! A Ranged build of the Inquisitor Sacred Huntsmaster with an Animal Companion Lore (Nature) +1 Lore (Religion) +1 Perception +1 Mobility +1. Given the unreliability of magic drops for different types, I'd think just using whatever comes around and not taking weapon focus would be best. 79, Section 3, New Taipei Blvd., Xinzhuang District, New Taipei City, Taiwan, 242032 +886 2 8522 9980. Take three levels of Sorcerer (take dragon bloodline preferably - I picked Gold dragon to round out my elemental resistances). The power of an Inquisitor over other ranged units would be the ability to stack personal-range buffs and providing useful party spells on-demand with spontaneous spellcasting. 19. Take two levels in Paladin (Sacred Huntsman) for the free Precise Shot Feat and +CHA to saves. With a monk dip, you can cap touch AC without being a dex char. You'll also have pretty good saves and much better Intimidate than a ranger thanks to Stern Gaze. Obviously a 1 level dip of fighter would give the proficiency feats and a bonus feat but also weakens the animal companion, delays spell progression, reduces skill point gain and delays class features. This is one of my favorite archer builds that peppers out some hefty damage and also acts as a skill monkey for the party. : https://rpgbot.net/pathfinder/characters/classes/rogue/knife_master.html (as much as possible given the in-game differences). Multiclass Inquisitor/Slayer. I have no idea which ones made it into the CRPG, though. Inquisitors get longbow + shortbow proficiency anyway (though Erastil is still a fine choice, since he gives Animal Domain). Yes, youll love it. All of the pieces of it can be found in Chapter 1. This build is a skill monkey, DPS, and face of the party all in one! How to Prevent Carpal Tunnel (Chicken Race), Phantom Brigade Simple Save Game Editing Guide, Sons Of The Forest How to Build a Base on Water, OCTOPATH TRAVELER II Hikari 60k+ Damage, 1hp, 1shot 1vs1 Challenge Setup, Race: Half-Elf, +2 DEX, Skill Focus Persuasion. (melee), Harrim as the cleric and extra flanking & shield wall aide for Valerie (melee), Octavia as the ranged nuker (spell caster), I plan to follow this guide? I initially thought fighter, but seeing how many enemy archers get devasting sneak attacks with their bows make rogue look pretty tempting. It's difficult to go wrong with Inquisitor. Lets check it out. i left out Trapfinding for dazzling display and pushed up most feats to get weapon Focus: Longbow early. jasonpauldegraaf Can you please clarify? While you pick them off. Remember taking Intimidating Prowess at level 6? I am super excited for Wrath of the Righteous and am preparing the build of my main character. Is there a better choice of Deity & Domain? All trademarks are property of their respective owners in the US and other countries. The biggest weakness are elementals that cannot be flanked, critted and has high defense against trips but heavy attacks can take them down as well. Zen Archer 20 (Pure Zen Archer) Zen Archer 4 / Cult Leader 16. Arcane archer is very good on her too. Our level 10 Slayer clearing the room of undead. And I simply love WIS classes and for whatever reason don't really like CHA classes. Aasimir and Tieflings get nice racial bonuses, too. Those archetypes aren't bad, but if you mainly want to focus on archery, note they make you give up Judgement, which starts off crappy but scales to become a pretty substantial buff to your attacks in a lot of fights per day. ._9ZuQyDXhFth1qKJF4KNm8{padding:12px 12px 40px}._2iNJX36LR2tMHx_unzEkVM,._1JmnMJclrTwTPpAip5U_Hm{font-size:16px;font-weight:500;line-height:20px;color:var(--newCommunityTheme-bodyText);margin-bottom:40px;padding-top:4px;text-align:left;margin-right:28px}._2iNJX36LR2tMHx_unzEkVM{-ms-flex-align:center;align-items:center;display:-ms-flexbox;display:flex}._2iNJX36LR2tMHx_unzEkVM ._24r4TaTKqNLBGA3VgswFrN{margin-left:6px}._306gA2lxjCHX44ssikUp3O{margin-bottom:32px}._1Omf6afKRpv3RKNCWjIyJ4{font-size:18px;font-weight:500;line-height:22px;border-bottom:2px solid var(--newCommunityTheme-line);color:var(--newCommunityTheme-bodyText);margin-bottom:8px;padding-bottom:8px}._2Ss7VGMX-UPKt9NhFRtgTz{margin-bottom:24px}._3vWu4F9B4X4Yc-Gm86-FMP{border-bottom:1px solid var(--newCommunityTheme-line);margin-bottom:8px;padding-bottom:2px}._3vWu4F9B4X4Yc-Gm86-FMP:last-of-type{border-bottom-width:0}._2qAEe8HGjtHsuKsHqNCa9u{font-size:14px;font-weight:500;line-height:18px;color:var(--newCommunityTheme-bodyText);padding-bottom:8px;padding-top:8px}.c5RWd-O3CYE-XSLdTyjtI{padding:8px 0}._3whORKuQps-WQpSceAyHuF{font-size:12px;font-weight:400;line-height:16px;color:var(--newCommunityTheme-actionIcon);margin-bottom:8px}._1Qk-ka6_CJz1fU3OUfeznu{margin-bottom:8px}._3ds8Wk2l32hr3hLddQshhG{font-weight:500}._1h0r6vtgOzgWtu-GNBO6Yb,._3ds8Wk2l32hr3hLddQshhG{font-size:12px;line-height:16px;color:var(--newCommunityTheme-actionIcon)}._1h0r6vtgOzgWtu-GNBO6Yb{font-weight:400}.horIoLCod23xkzt7MmTpC{font-size:12px;font-weight:400;line-height:16px;color:#ea0027}._33Iw1wpNZ-uhC05tWsB9xi{margin-top:24px}._2M7LQbQxH40ingJ9h9RslL{font-size:12px;font-weight:400;line-height:16px;color:var(--newCommunityTheme-actionIcon);margin-bottom:8px} Unfortunately there has been no indication I'm aware of that they plan to add traits or favorite class bonuses. ._1LHxa-yaHJwrPK8kuyv_Y4{width:100%}._1LHxa-yaHJwrPK8kuyv_Y4:hover ._31L3r0EWsU0weoMZvEJcUA{display:none}._1LHxa-yaHJwrPK8kuyv_Y4 ._31L3r0EWsU0weoMZvEJcUA,._1LHxa-yaHJwrPK8kuyv_Y4:hover ._11Zy7Yp4S1ZArNqhUQ0jZW{display:block}._1LHxa-yaHJwrPK8kuyv_Y4 ._11Zy7Yp4S1ZArNqhUQ0jZW{display:none} Bear gets rend at 7th level, curious as to what that is still. Smilodon and Dog are best companions, Smilodon for damage and Dog for the tripping. Shouldn't the teamwork feats you've given the pet trigger with fellow front-liners if they have the same ones, though?I mean, there's nothing in the description saying the pet's teamwork feats will only proc if you're the one adjacent.Has anyone tested this? (Determined Zeal, replaces Slayer Talent) +2 to Will Saves + Diehard feat vs most enemies. It gives an extra +2d6 to Sneak Attack damage and an untyped bonus of +4 to Mobility, Stealth, and Trickery (hence my love for Trapfinding on a Slayer). Maybe Skill Focus Persuation. These are all tasty choices for this build. Focus is either sword and board or two hander, so STR build with mostly buffs/debuffs for spells. Go for it! Seconded, nothing wrong with plain old ranger. . Instead of an inquisitor's . Additionally if you want more than 2 additional skill points you get them by increasing Int. This Inquisitor archetype grants an animal at first level, but delays learning Judgement until 4th level and cannot use multiple simultaneous Judgements. It looks like I could go either Human or Tiefling. Human is a good choice for the extra feat and skills but Aasimar and Tiefling are also great. Sacred Huntsmaster Build question. You want to play a human. Now, all of the enemies who are closer to you will most likely be shaken (and therefore flat-footed). But Lann is an incel so- Aru is thematically pretty flexible, but my pick would be deliverer or spawn slayer. Press question mark to learn the rest of the keyboard shortcuts. I would appreciate your thoughts on how to tweak or improve any aspect of the build. At the minimum I will take Corugen Smash because I plan to use Power Attack anyway but is it worth also investing feats in Weapon Focus, Dazzling Display and Shatter Defenses (again, not sure I want to be tied down to one weapon)? Personally I would go for reach weapons with pet. If you're in need of an archer, you can't go wrong with this . On lvl 4 in the class: Ranger (base class only), Druid (not Blight Druid)/ Cleric / Inquisitor with Animal Domain. Some inquisitors create a strong bond with an animal companion, and they hunt and punish threats to the faith as an awe-inspiring duo. Pathfinder: WotR - Sacred Huntmaster Inquisitor Starting Build - Beginner's Guide [2021] [1080p HD] [PC]Pathfinder: Wrath OF THE Righteous - Sacred Huntmaste. Stack as many static buffs as possible. As to sacred, it makes the . I chose bear as a middle ground pet. Although the NoDC isnt supposed to work with ranged attacks, it will (with certain limitations); with ranged attacks, the NoDC affects flat-footed enemies only (but not simply flanked targets, as it does in melee). Basically I want a decent front line fighter with either medium armor / high dexterity or heavy armor & shield (with a way to overcome reduced movement speed), reasonable attack & damage, and keeping weapon choices as open as possible.
